Web Accessibility Training for Developers and Designers (WebAIM)

The California Community Colleges Accessibility Center has partnered with WebAIM to provide a two-day virtual training on web accessibility for web developers and designers. Topics include the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), a brief overview of relevant laws, user experience needs, accessibility best practices for different types of disabilities, mobile accessibility, forms, and ARIA. This intermediate-level training is primarily suited for web developers and web designers. A basic understanding of HTML is recommended along with familiarity with CSS and JavaScript.

Who Should Attend
Web developers, web designers, or anyone with HTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge who is interested in gaining a deep understanding of web accessibility.

When
Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25. Each day, the training takes place via Zoom from 10am–3pm Pacific, with a one-hour break from 12pm to 1pm (8 total hours of training across 2 days).
