Office for Civil Rights:  Accommodations – what is required by federal disability law and what isn’t.

We regret to inform you that this webinar has been postponed. We are working to reschedule the presentation and will share the new date and registration details as soon as it’s available.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

------------
Do I have to provide extended time on all assignments as an accommodation?  Must my college create remote/virtual classes for every subject as an accommodation?  What if I already provide extra time for exams and quizzes?  What about emotional support animals and service dogs - what is allowed in the classroom and what isn’t?  Come hear a presentation from the chief attorney, Anamaria Loya, at the San Francisco regional office of the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights. She will share information and insights regarding College professors, employees, and staff obligations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act – two of the federal civil rights laws that address disability rights.
