The California Community Colleges Accessibility Center has partnered with WebAIM to provide an online training on web accessibility for web content creators. The training will span two days for a total of eight hours.
Topics will include the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), a brief overview of relevant laws, user experience needs, and accessibility best practices for different types of disabilities.
Who Should Attend?
This beginner-level training for content creators is a great introduction to web accessibility best practices.
All California Community Colleges personnel involved with creating or editing web content are encouraged to attend, including but not limited to:
- Public information/communications
- Marketing
- Webmasters/website administration
- Other employees tasked with creating or editing web content
Event Details
Delivered live via Zoom by WebAIM, the training will span two days for a total of eight hours:
- Wednesday, April 19, and Thursday, April 20
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day
- Break from noon to 1 p.m. each day
- Please plan to attend both days
