Captions and subtitles help to make video accessible to deaf and hard of hearing people. Do you know the difference between captions and subtitles, and how these services relate to Section 508 compliance?
Join us for this Office Hours discussion to learn about Subtitle Horse Shire, a captioning and subtitle application tool available to California community colleges. We will cover the difference between captions and subtitles, as well as their importance to Section 508 compliance and the students that rely on them.
Accessibility Office Hours offer the opportunity to ask questions and share best practices regarding web, document, and assistive technology accessibility issues. In an effort to foster an atmosphere of trust, authenticity, and full participation, sessions are not recorded.
