TOPIC: Why use Equidox for PDF Remediation
PDF accessibility continues to be a challenge for colleges and institutions as PDFs are popular, but can be difficult to make accessible. Accessibility specialists must have the appropriate software applications for document remediation. Equidox is a web-based application that supports the remediation and conversion of inaccessible PDF documents to HTML or a more accessible PDF version. Equidox automates much of the remediation process. It now offers an automated list and table detection, auto re-order, form recognition, tooltip functionality, and several newer features. These updates are to make it simpler for document remediation, yet stay true to the continued goal to meet accessibility standards. In this session, we will discuss how Equidox can assist in remediating PDF documents.
